Panun Kashmir reiterates demand for permanent homeland

JAMMU, Feb 14: A nationalistic, law abiding Kashmiri Pandit community subjected to genocide and exodus in this country is persistently marginalized, forgotten, denied justice, its geo- political aspirations are being brushed aside although being purely nationalistic in colour and content.
This was stated by Convenor of Panun Kashmir Dr.Agnishekar while addressing a press conference here today. He sought to know from the government reasons for marginalization of the Kashmiri Pandit community. Chairman media committee Shiben Khabri said that unholy alliance of forces bent upon to put state of Jammu Kashmir outside constitutional organization of India is making rapid strides in this direction.
He appealed to people of this nation to see through dangerous game plan hatched by this triple alliance of central government, National Conference, Peoples Democratic Party and forces inimical to the existence of Indian nation. He further disclosed that recent conference held in Bangkok for which forum was provided jointly by Jinnah Institute Islamabad and Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, New Delhi was attended by persons whose views range from Greater Autonomy Self Rule to Joint Control of J&K.
President Panun Kashmir Vijay Bhat appreciated the stand taken by Kashmiri Pandit diaspora in the recent tele-conference with Dr Padgoankar where in the demand of creation of home land for seven lakh Kashmiri pandits in north and east of river Jhelum in Kashmir was forcefully put forward.
