KPC rejects ‘Vision Document’ of PDP
2/14/2011 8:41:35 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 14: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has strongly condemned and rejected the Vision Kashmir document of PDP showing both Akasai Chin and Karakoram regions as part of China in its drawn map.
In a meeting of KPC held today at New Delhi under the Presidentship of Kundan Kashmiri, the members reviewed the present political situation prevailing in J&K state as well as Vision Kashmir document of Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
The KPC members ridiculed Mehbooba for acknowledging China’s role in Kashmir and said that this act of PDP is politically motivated and deliberately created this controversy to further internationalize Kashmir and project herself the only leader of Kashmir to down play National Conference & Hurriyat.
Addressing the meeting, Kundan Kashmiri said that PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has gone well beyond her argument for self rule in the state and appears to have accepted China’s sovereignty over Akasai Chin and Korakaram region.
Kundan Kashmiri and other KPC leaders stated that every inch of land of whole J & K state which includes PoK and 4000 sq. Kms of Kashmir ceded to China by Pakistan in 1963 belongs to India.
This act of PDP has annoyed and angered the Nationalist forces of the state as well as country.
Kundan Kashmiri further said that statement of Mehbooba that Egypt mass revolt inspired People of Kashmir valley to bring positive change, in nothing but to instigate and provoke the people of state to create unrest and put Valley again on fire. Both these acts of PDP
chief were mischievous, anti-national and against the interest of the people of the state and Country as well.
