JKNPP protests rising prices, holds dharna

JAMMU, Feb 14: District Coordination Committee Jammu District (Rural/Urban) of JKNPP organized one day protest dharna outside Raj Bhawan against rising prices and to highlight the inefficiency of ruling partners in the state who are unable to contain it.
JKNPP activists raised slogans against the state administration for not attending day to day sufferings of common people. The policies of the state administration is helping those forces who are looting common masses in the pretext of businessman and touts of government agencies, thus looting the poor people by manipulating rates of certain common food items being used by commencers. The speakers highlighted the ways of such agencies as to how this price rise could be curtailed and suggested that the enmities extended to the ministers and the bureaucrats be critically cut to subsidize items of ration and vegetables so that the poor of among the poorest could make both ends meet honorably.
