| Water cooler inaugurated at Gandhi Nagar Hospital | | Security apparatus still elusive in the hospital, poor administration responsible | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

Director Health Services, Dr. Jasbir Singh today inaugurated a water cooler in the premises of Gandhi Nagar Hospital. The fund for the installation was provided by Former MLA Gandhi Nagar, Ch. Piara Singh, Corporator Gandhi Nagar, Bansi Lal Gupta was also present on the occasion. It was the long pending demand of the people to have such a facility in the hospital. Medical Superintendent Dr. Harbans Lal Sharma was also present on the occasion along with the other hospital functionaries.
Meanwhile, talking to “Early Times” some of the patients expressed concerns over the lack of security system in the hospital. It is to be mentioned that not even a single security man is deployed in this full fledged hospital. One of the senior doctors of the hospital when contacted alleged that poor administration is responsible for such a lapse. As it’s a responsibility of hospital administration to put forth this demand vociferously to higher officials.
