| Ganju urges for check on price hike | | | JAMMU | NOV 10 The Jammu and Kashmir national panthers party (JKNPP) has urged upon the state government to exercise control over spiral rise in essential commodities of daily use. They demanded that consumer Affairs and Public distribution (CAPD) system should be by weeding out corrupt officials. In a statement issued today, JKNPP vice president P.K Ganju said that department has turned blind to their duty towards the consumers with the result that right form milk to Atta, rice cereals prices have gone up without any cogent reasons. He said that he middle men are ruling the roost while the chief minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad is keen to end hoarding, corruption and black marketing from the state. He further said, adulteration in milk, milk products and other eatable is on the rise and no action is taken against them.
