| PEEU extends gratitude to CM | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu ,Feb 14: The Provincial Electric Employees Union (PEEU) today passed a resolution to thank the Chief Minister and Chief Engineer, M&Re Wing, Jammu Mohd Kasim for fulfilling their long pending demand of making all cadres DPC.
The union members stated that the struggle for DPC started in January 2010 and had a meeting with the Chief Minister at his residence who gave directions for preparation of seniority list.
After getting objection, Chief Engineer had prepared a transparent agenda of DPC and held meeting recently wherein all the members approved the agenda unanimously.
Meanwhile, P.C Sharma congratulated all employees who have been promoted through DPC and appealed all PDD employees to remain united for common cause of the employees. He also appealed all PDD employees to make the best efforts for providing fault free services to the public and also for collection of revenue.
Sharma also stated that others issues of the employees are going to solved mmediately.
Those who participated the meeting were T.C.Chowdhary, G.M.Tantray, Narinder Singh, Naresh Singh, Raman Kumar.
