| Jan inaugurates school building at Chandak | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
POONCH, Feb 14 : MLA Poonch Aijaz Ahmed Jan today inaugurated an additional block of high school, Chandak in Poonch comprising of three rooms, complete boundary wall of the school premises and pacca path leading to school built at an expenditure of about Rs 25 lakhs.
The demand for additional block was raised by the public and school authorities during the inspection of the school by the legislator last year.
A large number of people from all walks of life had assembled inspite of the bad weather to congratulate the legislator for fulfilling their long pending demand .
The legislator was accopmpanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Matloob Khan, XEN, PWD Poonch and BDO Poonch Aijaz Qaiser.
Speaking on the occasion. youth leader of national conference Shehzad Khan and Peer Anyat lauded the role of legislator for triggering a phase of all round development in haveli constituency and that under the dynamic leadership of MLA national conference has grown by leaps and bounds and Ch Ghani, Block President NC appreciated the young leader for his focus on education and health sector for providing basis amenities to the people of poonch.
Earlier, the MLA paid a surprise visit to the Food and Supplies store and inspected the quality of stock received and issued directions for immediate issue of new ration cards .
