| Army Chief to visit J&K today | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 14: Chief of Army Staff Gen V.K Singh is likely to undertake two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir from tomorrow to review security scenario in the state.
''Gen Singh's two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir is likely to begin tomorrow,'' sources said. He added that Army Chief will reach Northern Command Udhampur tomorrow and leave for Kashmir on Wednesday. ''During his visit, Gen Singh will interact with senior army officers and also review security scenario in Jammu and Kashmir,'' they added.
Issue of withdrawal of troops may remain highlight during his meetings with the army officers in Jammu and Kashmir, sources said. |
