Army organizes all India tour for Kashmir senior citizens

Jammu, Feb 15: The Army today gave a warm welcome to delegation of senior citizens from Srinagar, on their return from all India tour.
The delegation consisted of 30 civilians from Srinagar sponsored by the Army, under the aegis of Headquarter 31 Sub Area.
During the tour the places they visited included Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Ajmer and Chandigarh.
Apart from sightseeing, the senior citizens interacted with high ranking officials of the Army and civil dignitaries during the visit.
The senior citizens who had gone on their maiden voyage outside Kashmir shared
their experience.
Maulavi Mushtaq expressed his gratitude to the Army for organising the tour and opening a whole new world to him.
Further, he reiterated the contribution of the Army in bringing about positive changes in
the quality of life of the people and maintaining peace and tranquility in Kashmir Valley.
