| Six bovines recovered, smuggling attempt foiled | | | BATOTE | NOV 10
Six bovine animals were recovered from a truck, being smuggled to Kashmir from Jammu.
As per reports on routine checking of vehicles by the police party under SHO Sat Paul Modi, a truck No JKE-5673 was intercepted and six bovines were found inside the truck. During the interrogation of the person accompanying the bovine disclose those animals were been smuggled to Kashmir. The arrested person ahs been identified as Pervez Ahmed S/o Ghulam Nabi resident of Ramban (Jammu).
