| PIB holds awareness camp at Premnagar, Doda | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 15The Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting organized day-lay public awareness camp at village Premnagar of Gundana block of Doda district, here today.
The programme was organized in collaboration with Rural Development.
Block Development Officer, Anil Chandal, presided over the programme while as Varun Jeet Singh Charak, CDPO, was guest of honour.
On the occasion, the resource persons including N Gulshan Raina, nodal officer highlighted the various schemes of the government regarding better living conditions, improving economical conditions and accelerating the developmental works at the village level under NREGA, TSC and National Rural Drinking Water Mission.
The organizer also held seminar on “Total Sanitation” in which about a dozen volunteers participated and highlighted the features of the Rural Development programmes.
The BDO explained in detail the TSC for betterment of the masses with poster display.
Large number of villagers attended the programme including Anganwadi workers and field functionaries of Rural Development, PHE, Total Sanitation and ICDS department.
Later, trophies were also distributed among the winners participated in seminar.
