Jammu, Feb Hitting it out at Mehbooba’s map controversy, Socialistic Democratic Party has said that those who have now come into the business of preparing maps are habitual of creating confusions just to rope in the sentiments of a few who nourish them for timely political popularity.
This was stated by SDP president Darakhshan Andrabi while addressing the party state executive meet at Jammu today
Referring to the PDP’s ‘map-drama’, she said that they always play "circus politics". “All sensible minds will have to unitedly reject such moves and such minds,”said SDP chief adding that “J&K is one integral unit and nobody can play with its integrity for political benefits”.
She said that the arrogant justifications by Mehbooba Mufti for the controversial map of J&K speak of her ill will. She said that it was shocking to see Mehbooba and Muzaffar Beigh talking contrary to each other on the issue.
She said that as always it was difficult to know the actual stand of the party as political moves of confusion have no one justification. She said that the worst of the situation was that PDP had hundred mouths and every mouth spoke differently on one issue.
Mehbooba had violated the oath of allegiance to the constitution of India and the state constitution. During the last ten years we have seen much of the gimmicks of Mehbooba Mufti aimed at polarizing the society and harming the national interests,” said andrabi demanding a stern stern action against Mehbooba and her party.
She said that it was surprising to see a responsible politician Mufti Mohammad Syed hiding himself at all such occasions when Mehbooba flares up her controversies.
