| Government neglecting physiotherapists | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 15: Dharna of Jammu Kashmir Physiotherapist Association (JKPA) entered into 85th day today at old Divisional Commissioner office, Mubarak Mandi, Jammu.
The JKPA is demanding for state physiotherapy council, jobs through Public Services Commission, physiotherapy at Primary Health Center level in government sector along with others like reopening of Government Medical College of Physiotherapy etc.
The leaders said that Government is not at all serious in considering their demands and this is going with a mass resentment among the youth of the State.
They said that government has selected them via Common Inference Test in Jammu & Kashmir and have given degrees affiliated with UGC recognized Universities of various states of India, so it becomes responsibility of the Government to provide jobs and introduction in health care too.
But Government is neglecting the very important first line of treatment violating the right to health of the public thus exploiting right of youth.
They appealed the public of the State to come forward as always for the cause of the youth and show up the real meaning of the public & democracy to the deaf & dumb government.
