| Provide proper medicare to patients, MLA tells docs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Rajouri, 15 Feb: MLA Darhal Choudhary Zulfikar today asked the doctors to work with sincerity and dedication and provide medical facilities to patients of remotest and far-flung areas.
Presiding over meeting of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti at Rajouri here today, Choudhary Zulfikar impressed upon the medicos to serve the humanity with dedication and sincerity. He said that residents of the backward areas like Rajouri deserved more attention due to non-availability of adequate facilities in these areas.
The MLA demanded that free medicines and treatment should be given to needy and other patients who belongs to the Below Poverty Line (BPL). The MLA reviewed functioning of various health schemes in the backward areas of Rajouri district included Darhal, Kotranka, Budhal, Swari, Seota etc.
Besides members of the RKS, CMO Rajouri Dr. Ved Gupta, BMO Kandi Dr. Chaman Bhasin and BMO Darhal Dr. Anees were also present in the meeting. Officers of all allied departments namely PDD, RDD, R&B. PHE etc were also present.
