| Book `Refugee in my own country’ released | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , Feb 15: A book “ Refugee in my own country” authored by Juhi and Manik R Kuchroo was released at a function organised by Naagrai literary forum in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture language at K.L Saigal Hall.
Prof Dr Nirmal Singh was the chief guest and Dr Jatinder Singh, a well known diabitologist and eminent journalist and Savita Bakshi, Additional Secretary, J&K Academy.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Nirmal Singh said that this book is the journey of a girl and her family and their resilence to survive even as refugee in their own country. Dr Jatinder Singh said that people lived a beautiful life in the valley until terrorism forced the microscopic minority place to flee to different parts of the country and abroad. The journey in the book is that one must learn to live as refugee in one’s own country and cope with the loss. Prof Trisal presided over the function. P.L Swadeshi, President, Nagrai literary forum and Ajay Bhati welcomed and presented bouquets to the guests.
Pream Nath Pandita compared the proceedings the function was attended by B.L Bhat, Ex MLC Busshan Lal, AN washnavi, H.L Chatta, P.N Prem, T.N Ganjoo wishvas, Hasrat Gaddah, Adarsh Ajeet, Dr. BL Bhat, Boll jee Kuchroo, Dr. B.L Koul, Dr. Manta Singh and many others
