| Kathua residents protest against the PDD departments | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Feb 16: The residents of the village Logate Morh today held a massive protest against the PDD department’s attitude of ignoring the long pending genuine demand of electric connection with the new transformer which had been installed for the last more than four years but still out of function since then.
The irate people of the area expressed their anger during the protest and alleged the PDD for not making the installed transformer functional to facilitate the residents with providing the electric connection and it is still rusting as it is before. And they said that since then the people are living in intense darkness and the students cannot study even during the examination times, the several other problems are prevailing among these suffering people.
But no MLA, MP and any other political leader came to see the worse condition of the people due to the non availability of the electricity. They said that an 11KV electric wire is provided to some people which is most dangerous for the people, once it was broken and fallen on other general wire then all the electric appliances got rotten and fused.
So the installed transformer can facilitate the people by providing the electric connection.
They further warned if the installed transformer is not to make functional, the entire PDD and leaders should ready to face the dire consequences.
In the protest Balwant Singh, Lucky, Anchal, Subash, Dalip,
Anchalo Devi, Taro Devi, Reeta, Omakar Singh, Aswhani Bimla Devi, and Dara Singh were present.
