| J&K gymnasts win three medals in National Games | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 17: As usual, the young women gymnasts of the state made J&K’s presence felt in the medals tally winning three medals in the ongoing 34th National Games at Ranchi in Jharkhand today.According to the inputs gathered by SAN, all three medals came in rhythmic gymnastics. Two medals came through Mitali, who claimed a silver in all round rhythmic and bronze in rhythmic ribbon gymnastics. Third medal in the shape of a silver came in team championship. The team was comprised of Mitali, Palak Kour, Ruhi and Natasha. Coach, S P Singh was also awarded medal.Likewise previous National Games, Mithali remained in lime light but could not make it a gold because of tough competition from other states.
