| Govt retrieves 225 kanal EP land, 50 kanal State land at Panchwati village near Mishriwala | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 17: Tightening the clutches over land grabbing, theMinister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla has asked the Revenue Officers to retrieve Evacuee Property (EP) and State land from land grabbers forcefully in their respective jurisdictions.
Bhalla even stated that a special complaint cell has also been established in the offices of Deputy Commissioners exclusively for
getting the information about illegal EP and State land encroachments across the State.
Even 225 kanal EP land, 50 kanal State land has been retrieved at
Panchwati village near Mishriwala. Bhalla also ordered the concerned authorities to demolish the structures from the retrieved land and to fence the area and even
asked the authorities to enquire the reality regarding the fake allotment of state and EP land. The Minister said that best officers of EP and Revenue Department will
be awarded also, and meanwhile the officers with poor performance have
to face strict action.
