| Education tour flagged in | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 17: Noble effort of Rashtriya Rifles to expose 23 young children belonging to far flung areas of Saaj, Manyal, Dhar Sakri, Darhal and Parore Gujran in Rajouri district to an educational/motivational tour to Delhi, Agra and Lucknow culminated with flag in ceremony today at Saaj in Rajouri district.
Before Flag in, children had an interaction with Member of Parliament Madan Lal Sharma, Hon’ble, at Dak Bungalow Rajouri. He welcomed and received the jubilant children and the accompanying teachers. A large number of civil dignitaries including Ghulam Ahmed Khawaja DC, Rajouri were present on the occasion.
Education Tour exposed the children to the rapid development taking place in other parts of our country. Incidentally, the children had never ventured out of Rajouri district boundaries before. “It is our earnest endeavor to integrate these children in the mainstream as the budding future of Jammu and Kashmir and India with rest of the country by means of providing them the best a child must get” said Madan Lal Sharma, after witnessing the exuberance and excitement of children who were part of the tour.
