| PDP holds protest against PDD | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 17: Youth wing of Jammu And Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a protest demonstration against discriminatory attitude of the state government towards the people of Karwal village in Bishnah.
Youth wing activists of PDP led by state vice president Rajinder Singh Manhas raised slogans outside the office of Chief Engineer of Power Development Department against PDD’s failure to provide electricity in Karwal village. While addressing, General Secretary Nadeem Khan alleged that villagers of Karwal were facing electricity problems for the last seven months despite residents having permanent electricity connections.
State Secretary Gurdeep Singh Pandey lambasted government for its failure to frame proper policies and plans for the development of common masses. Vikram Singh, Shamsher Singh Manhas, Amit Dar, Puneet Jamwal, Rajan Kumar Lalotra, Kewal Kumar and Vipul Sharma also addressed the gathering.
