| Guest lecture on Physics of solids held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 17: Physics Department of Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar organized guest lecture on “Physics of Solids” here today.
Principal Prof Nalini Kohli was the Chief Guest while Head Department of Physics & Electronics Dr. Rajnikant was the resource person on the occasion. While delivering lecture, Dr Rajnikant gave detailed deliberations on study of solids and according to him solids are living things.
During his lecture, he also suggested that a group of meritorious students should visit different science departments of the University so that they may get inspired for perusing P.G. Courses and research work. During interactive session Dr. Rajnikant answered each & every query to the satisfaction of the students. Earlier, HOD Physics of the College Prof Sudha Segal welcomed the resource person and introduced him to the audience. Prof Hans Raj Presented Votes of thanks.
