| Power shut down on Feb 19 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, FEB 17- In order to carry out the thickening of the conductor, the power supply to the areas fed from 33KV Barn-Purkhoo line including 33/11 KV R/Stns. Purkhoo, Marh, Shamachak, Batera and Gajansoo will remain affected on February 19, 2011 from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
According to Superintending Engineer, Elect. M&RE Circle-I, Jammu, the shut down is subject to fair weather conditions.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the erection work of location No. 127 of under-construction 220KV Gladni Udhampur transmission line and stringing of the transmission line, the shutdown of Udhampur-Jhajjar Kotli section of 132KV Udhampur-Jhajjar-Kotli-Janipur transmission line for 10 days w.e.f February 16 is allowed.
As intimated by the Chief Engineer, system and operation wing Jammu vide his referred letter, the power supply to Jhajjar-Kotli Grid station shall be fed from Janipur Grid station, the power supply shall not be affected.
