| Rs.5150 realized from shopkeepers at Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur Feb 17: Continuing its drive against hoarders and profiteers, a team of officers comprising of Assistant Director, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD), Udhampur, Rajinder Singh assisted by Tehsildar, Udhampur, R.K. Rathore and officers of Weights and Measures Department inspected various hotels, dhabas, sweet, vegetable and fruit shops including government ration depots in the vicinity of Udhampur, today.
About 60 establishments were checked, out of which ten were challaned and a fine of Rs.5150 was realized on the spot from defaulters.
The shopkeepers were warned not to use domestic LPG gas cylinders for commercial purposes.
