| Mufti, Mehbooba to address meeting of senior leaders on Feb 19 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 17: A meeting of the senior leaders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would be held on February 19 at Jammu to discuss the latest political situation in the State. Former Chief Minister and patron of PDP Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and president of the party Ms Mehbooba Mufti would address the meeting in which party MLAs, MLCs, senior leaders, district presidents and zonal presidents of Jammu province would present. Besides debating other important issues in the February 19 meeting, party leaders would also discuss the prevailing political situation in the State. They are also expected to discuss future course of action regarding the ongoing campaign already being launched by the party for the resolution of Kashmir problem. The party had successfully organized an impressive rally on February 14 at Jammu for the resolution of the Kashmir problem. The party has made it clear that solution of the Kashmir problem is core of PDP's agenda because since its formation party has been advocating for resolution of this issue. The party also has repeatedly mentioned that resolution of Kashmir problem is key to the lasting peace and economic growth of South Asia. |
