JK Bank gifts means of subsistence to disabled

EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Feb 18: As an effective philanthropic gesture towards the vulnerable sections of society, J&K Bank today gifted several computers, sewing machines, knitting machines, musical instruments, interlock machine, electric irons and a gas connection to differently disabled persons here at Bank’s Corporate Headquarters.
Tafazal Hussain, G M Sahibzada, Parvez Ahmed and GA Regoo, Presidents of the Bank jointly handed over the items to the office bearers of the All J&K Handicapped Association. The items were gifted to the Association on the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) with the objective of encouragement for all such persons so that they carry out their lives in a more fruitful and dignified manner.The tools shall be a means of livelihood as well as convenience that brings with itself the dignity of labour and self-reliance
