JWAM protests scarcity of essential commodities | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 18: In protest against scarcity of basic commodities in the city particularly at CAPD stores, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today held a protest demonstration. Protesters alleged that administration has totally failed to solve problems of the common man and they continue to suffer despite assurances by the successive state governments. They demanded that strict action should be taken against the officials who have failed to keep the supply normal as it is the general public which has to suffer. Speaking on the occasion, JWAM president Sunil Dimple alleged that coalition government has just shown green pastures to the people, but nothing has been done to mitigate basic problems being faced by them. Dimple alleged that not only ration but supply of drinking water and electricity is also erratic in various localities of the region. Those who spoke on the occasion include, Rash Pal Singh, Dildar, Mohinder Kumar, Deepak Kumar Dogra, Rajesh Angral, Daleep Kumar, Ballu Kumar, T.N.Bhat and Tarsem Lal.
