| Illicit liquor seized at Bhaderwah | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 18: Police today seized illicit liquor which was being smuggled in a car and a scooter in Bhaderwah area of Doda.
Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a car (JK06/1154) and a scooter at Bhaderwah. While car driver Sanjay and scooterist Sunny fled the spot, police seized the vehicles, DSP Abdul Qayum Choudhary said.
Their search led cops to the recovery of 122 pouches, he added.
Police had registered a case in this connection and launched a manhunt to nab them.
