| Slathia lays foundation of Para Medical Sciences | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 18: Minister for Industries and Commerce Surjeet Singh Salathia laid the foundation stone of St. Joseph’s institute of Para Medical sciences, Barjani Talab, Baribrahmana today.
While addressing the gathering, Minister appreciated the Catholic Social Service Society which is a non-governmental organization. This organization is working in the field of health and social upliftment programmes since last 28 years in the state. Earlier, the Minister visited village Meen-Sarkar at Vijaypur and addressed a public meeting there. After taking appraisal of problem being faced by the villagers he directed the concerned authorities for regular supply of water, construction of lanes and drains, black topping of road, installation of hand pump in the area and replacement of transformer.
Responding to the demand of the people in the village chak chataka at Vijaypur he announced that Main Nallah at chak chataka will be constructed soon for the convenience of the villagers.
Community Facility Centre will be constructed and black topping of the road in chak chatka will be taken up next fiscal. He assured to shift transformer in the village and HT lines.
The Minister appealed the people to strengthen the hands of the Govt. and participate at large scale in coming panchayat election.
