| K.C. Public school celebrates annual day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 18: Pre-Primary wing of K.C Public School today celebrated its 2nd Annual day with great fanfare.
Creativity of the children could be seen on the colorful rolling boards displayed on this occasion. Amazing artistic talent of the Children which pleased the senses was reflected in the detailed decoration of the stage and its surrounding areas.
Former Deputy Chief Minister Mangat Ram Sharma graciously accepted to be Chief Guest on this momentous day. Others who were present on the occasion included the Chairman Sudarshan Mahajan, Director Arti Choudhary and Principal Dr.R.D.Thakur.
Proceedings began with the lighting of the lamp followed by welcome address delivered by junior school Headmistress Sofia Rana. Rana introduced herself and gave a brief about the school, importantly highlighting the introduction of the language lab in the coming session. She assured parents of her cooperation in all matters while welcoming them.
Main essence of this programme was the anchoring and comparing done with great aplomb and charm by young Raghav, Raghavi, Inayat and Deepshika, all children of class 1st & UKG. Mangat Ram Sharma spoke a few words where he lauded hard work and efforts of the little angels and staff alike. The vote of thanks by Raghav and Raghavi ended everything on a perfect note. Creative head Sonia Thakur and her team of teachers worked round the clock with the children to exhibit this memorable event.
