| QFs of Sher-e-Kashmir Gold Cup from Feb 22 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 19: After a break, the 2nd Sher-e-Kashmir Gold Cup Football Tournament, organised by Youth National Conference, shall resume from February 22 with J&K Bank playing against R&B XI in the quarterfinals at GGM Science College ground, here.
“The quarterfinal is scheduled to be played at 2.30 pm. Similarly, the second quarterfinal between Food and Supplies and J&K Forest is fixture for February 23,” organizing secretary of the Tournament, Surinder Singh Bunty told SAN.
Earlier, the competition was to resume from February 20, but was extended by two days due to pre-occupation of J&K Bank team.
After the remaining two quarterfinals, the semi-finals shall be played from February 24. In the first semi-final, J&K Police shall face the winner of the match between J&K Bank and R&B. In another semi-final, scheduled for February 25 at the same venue and time, Vijay Club shall take on the winner of the game between Food and Supplies and J&K Forest.
