| SOS Hermann Gmeiner School organizes ‘Gunjan’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 19: A colourful programme ‘GUNJAN’ for Kindergarten was held in SOS Hermann Gmeiner School Jammu today in which children from different schools of city escorted by their parents and teachers participated in the various competitions.
The competitions were based on sport events as well as cultural programs like different types of races picture colouring competition, solo dances/ Singing. Fancy dress competition was the star attraction. The program started with the lighting of traditional lamp by the Chief Guest Dharmesh Nargotra a noted Ghazal Singer of Jammu city. The kids actively took part in different events and were adjudged winners accordingly. The function was aimed to provide opportunities to young
kids in unfolding their talents. Speaking on the occasion Dharmesh Nargotra highlighted the role of co-curricular activities in the alround development of children. For boosting the morale of the kids prizes were given to the meritorious children at the end of the program.
