| Guru Ravidass birth anniversary celebrated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, Feb 19: To commemorate 634th birthday anniversary of Guru Ravidass a programme was organised at village Chamba about three kms from Katra. Hundreds of people of adjoining villages including Paroh, Serli, Manoon, Sool thronged the venue to celebrate the birthday of Guru Ravi Dass.
Chief guest Mulk Raj Sharma, committee president Shanker Dass Thappa, Member state advisory board Madan Lal Dogra, president Kabir Sabha Kartar Chand, Organiser Ashok Kumar and many others while speaking on the occasion asked the assembled Sangats to follow the foot-prints of Guru Ravi Dass, who all through his life rendered selfless services for the downtrodden- helpless common masses.
Several children spoke about the life and teachings of great saint Ravidass, women folk recited bhajans on the occasion and at last large number of sangat participated in bhandara
