| Jan visits far flung areas in Poonch | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU: Ajaz Ahmed Jan, MLA Haveli Poonch constitutency today completed an extensive and hectic tour of Poonch City, backward and far flung areas of Poonch and Mandi Block.
The public raised the issue of their concern before the MLA. The MLA disposed off their problems on the spot and assured to make necessary arrangements for the welfare of public in future. He directed the concerned authorities to expedite the compensation process for the displaced families on priority.
A series of public meet was organised by the border people of Mandi and Poonch wherein MLA Poonch Aijaz Ahmed Jan was the invited to preside over the function. The meet was organised to express their sincere gratitude to the government headed by Omar Abdullah in the state
The speakers thanked the chief minister and Forest minister Mian Altaf for their concern towards the earthquake affected families in Mandi and Poonch for granting wood for raising houses. They also thanked the chief minister for the additionalities granted during the recently held board meeting in Jammu, especially for the emergency block of district hospital, Poonch and in far flung areas.
