| Many people join PDP | | |

Jammu:
Impressed by the progressive programmes and policies of the party, a large
number of people today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presence
of senior party leaders here this afternoon.
Kamla Devi along with 200 other women today joined PDP while Subash Sharma from Talab Tilllo along with more than 100 people too joined.
Welcoming the new entrants into the partyfold, general secretary, Thakur Balbir
Singh said that PDP is a movement to address aspirations of the people of all the regions of the State. He said that joining of such a large number of people is a clear indication that progressive policies of this party have been attracting all sections of the society and people in large number coming to join PDP.
Party state secretary Fallail Singh impressed upon the new entrants to work with dedication to serve the people. He said that PDP, as a political group, working assiduously to address aspirations of the people. Singh reminded the people that during his tenure as Chief Minister of the State, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had carved out a path of equitable development in the State.
Welcoming those who joined the party, Fallail Singh reminded that during his three years tenure as Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had set an example of good governance. He said that it was result of the policies of the PDP that people have been coming forward in large number to join this party. Others who were present on the occasion included senior Vice president Youth Wing Joginder Singh Manhas , Rafiq Malik.
