| JKSSSC distributes sewing machines among needy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 21: Jammu and Kashmir State Samaj Sudhar Committee (JKSSSC) today distributed blankets, sewing machines among 22 widows and needy persons here today at Press Club.
Minister for CAPD and Transport Qamar Ali Akhoon was the chief guest while Sanjay Manmotra state president Lok Jan Shakti Party was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Akhoon appreciated the Committee for helping the poor and needy people besides self dependent and thereby improving their quality of life. Naveen Gupta, state chairman, Mohd Yousuf Wani, state president said that such programme will continue in future.
Among others who were present on the occasion were Mohan Choudhary, Narinder Pal Choudhary, Fayaz Ahmed Malik, Rupinder Singh, Haji Aslam Kohli, Bilal Ahmed Mir, Nazir Ahmed, Varindre K Gupta and others.
