| NYCWES, NYK organizes sports-cum-cultural meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 21: A two-day block level sports-cum-cultural meet was organized by
National Youth Child and Women Empowerment Society (NYCWES) in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Jammu at Bhargava Public School, Gadigarh, Block Satwari, Jammu.
Nisar Ahmed Bhatt, district youth coordinator Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu was the chief guest, Vikas Sharma, Principal Bhargava Public School was the guest of honour.
In this programme six teams of different Youth Clubs participated in the Volley Ball Tournament held at ‘Bhargav Public School Ground’,
Gadigarh, Jammu. The final match was played between Singh Youth Club,
Satwari and Bhargav Youth Club, Gadigarh whereas final match was won by Singh Youth Club, Old Satwari.
Besides, there was athletic competition of 100 mtr and 200 mtr race, in 100 mts race, Rohan bagged 1st position and Ashish bagged 2nd position while in 200 mtr race Gurpree Singh and Gagandeep Singh bagged 1st and 2nd position respectively. On the occasion, cultural programme was also organized.
