51 govt employees absent from duty | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Feb 21: Jammu and Kashmir government today conducted surprise raids in various city hospitals and found 51 employees, including 11 doctors, absent from duty following which action has been initiated action against them. The inspection team also raided several private clinics and nursing homes and found two professors of SKIMS medical college running private practice despite getting non-practising allowance from the government, an official spokesman said. While its raid at a city private hospital, the team found two government doctors working there during office hours. The team visited the Government Gousia Hospital Khanyar and found 51 employees, including 11 doctors absent from duties.The spokesman said action under rules has been started against all the erring doctors and employees.
