| Poetic meet organized | | |
JAMMU | NOV 11
Adbi Kunj hold a composite literary cum poetic meet here. In the first part of the meet glowing tributes were paid to the great maessenger of humanity of Hindu- Mudlim amity Guru Nanak Dev ji on his 532nd birth anniversary as well as the legendry peasant hero, Bawa Jitto on his martyrdom day.
Those who spoke on the occasion included r.K Bharti, Talib Kashmiri, Muni Lal Puri, Maharaj Krishen, Nargis Sitara and S.Inder Singh who said that Prkash Diwas and Jhiri Mela reminded us about the need to follow the footsteps of these great personalities and act upon their teachings. Sham Talib President Adbi Kunj consgratulated Kashmiri Lal Zakir and Secy. Haryana Urdu Academy for being given Shiromani Sahityakar award for his outstanding contribution to Urdu literature.
In the poetic session those who read their ghazals and poems included R.K Bharti, Talib Kashmiri, Maharaja Krishen, Muni Lal Puri, Sanjiv Kumar, Avtar Krishen Ganjoo, Daya Ram Daya, Dimple Sharma, Nargis sitara Vijay Sharma, Inder Singh, Yogeshwar Sharma, Com. Jaswant Singh and Sham Talib.
