| Philanthropist holds function | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Feb 23: NRI and president of Surrey Singh Sabha (Canada) Giyani Narinder Singh today distributed uniforms and shoes among 102 students of Government Middle School (GMS) Chak Sheikhan Kathua.
On the occasion, wife of NRI Giyani, Jatinder Kour said that motive behind making donations is to help those who are in distress. Moreover, NRI and president of Surrey Singh Sabha (Canada) Giyani Narinder Singh said that they would also be providing help to the poor for marriage purposes, for holding eye-camps and addressing education related issues.
On the occasion, Chief Guest Ragi Harjinder Singh appreciated steps taken by both NRI Narinder Singh and his wife Jatinder Kour for carrying the most essential human services to facilitate the poor. In the programme, Paramjeet Singh, Jatinder Singh, Manjit Singh, and the school staff along with students were present.
