| Guru Pooja Divas celebrated | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Feb 23: On the auspicious occasion of Pragat divas of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj which is also celebrated as “Guru Pooja Divas”, a massive cleanliness and plantation drive was carried out in Akhnoor.
In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that the prayer was held under the guidance and supervision of Zonal Incharge Dr. V.S.Manhas and Sansar Chand. Dozens of Nirankari Sewa Dal volunteers cleaned Tehsil office Akhnoor, Government hospital premises and walking areas near river Chenab.
Plantation drive took place at Government hospital. While addressing the congregation, Sansar Chand said that Guru Pooja is highest of all celebrations because only with devine knowledge which a disciple gets from Sadguru will ultimately fulfill the main objective of coming to this world and give salvation to wandering souls.
