| Naz chairs meeting of Gujjar-Bakerwal board | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 23: Vice-Chairman of State Advisory Board (SAB) for the development of Gujjar-Bakerwal Bashir Naz today chaired a meeting of wardens of Gujjar and Bakerwal Hostels of both Jammu and Kashmir provinces.
Naz reviewed achievements and general functioning of these institutions. In the meeting, physical financial and educational achievements were discussed at great length. Vice- Chairman apprised participants that additional amount to the tune of Rs 4 crore against the outlay of Rs. 12 Crores has been projected to the government on account of pre-matric scholarship.
Wardens were directed to remain in constant touch with the Chief Education Officers concerned to ensure that scholarship is disbursed to all the students without any further delay. The Director Tribal Affair may also take necessary steps in this regard to ensure that the scholarship is paid to all the students on priority basis without any further delay.
