Vir Marg traders express gratitude to Charak

Traders of Vir Marg today expressed gratitude towards minister for road and buildings . Gulchain singh charak for constructing road infrastructure and footpath on both sides of the road at Vir Marg. In a simple function organised in favour of charak, Rajan Nirula, President Vir Marg Traders Association, said that the Association members have no words to express the greatness of the minister showered on us.The roads leads to Vir Marg Area now gives the Beautiful look after the beautification of the road and the construction of the footpaths on both sides .
Yogesh Sahney, MLA, in his adress said that our coalition Govt. earlier under the leadership of Mufti Sayeed and now under the guidance of Ghulam Nabi Azad, is doing commendable work for the welfare of the people of Jammu &Kashmir state. He asked the PDD and B.S.N.L authorities to arrange the mechanism of under groud cabling of electric and telephone wires as it gives a shabby look in the area where the influx of the tourists is maximum.He stressed on the regular supply of power to street lights as the Residence of Chief Minister and other High officials fall in this area .
G.S.Charak, in his speech said that our efforts are to make this area more beautiful and it requires your support .Like Mubarak Mandi Complex we are intending to make whole Jammu city beautiful. For this purpose a cable car project is under consideration which will connect the Bahu Fort area with Mubarak Mandi.The construction of Big Gates at the four entrance places in jammu as suggested is also under consideration,he added.Later ,Vir Marg traders Association presented the momentos to the guests.

Cooperative union to celebrate cooperative week

I n order to review the arrangement with regard to celebration of Cooperative week in Jammu and Kashmir on the pattern of national celebration, Rajesh Sharma, Chairman, J&K state Cooperative union, under the guidance of the Registrar Cooperative societies, Dr.G.N.Qasba, said that the celebration of the cooperative week in J&K will commence from 14th November onwards, in which essentials of cooperative movement with regards to its development in the state will be discussed. The main emphasis will be on development of primary cooperatives in the field of Diary, handicraft, rural cooperative with participation of women and the celebration will be held at all the district headquarters of J&K.
B.S..Manhas Director, J&K state Cooperative union while addressing the press conference said that the main motive of this cooperative week is to educate the people associated with different trades to take full advantage of the present cooperative movement, which is swweping, whole of the country and world. He further said that cooperatives is one of the three pillars of democracy and people at large should participate whole heartily in this movement.
Vikrant Dogra sec, J&K Dairy producers, Processors and marketing cooperative union limited and Jameel Choudhary Chairman, JKDCUL assured full support to the organizers for the success of this cooperative week.
