| Cheques distributed by SDM during Dehari IEC Awareness Camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Dehari (Ramnagar) Feb 23,: In continuation of streak for spreading more and more awareness and developing work culture amongst the Angadwadi workers of the sub division, SDM Dudu Basantgarh Amit Sharma delivered a motivational address and distributed cheques to Angadwadi workers and helpers during one day Awareness Camp\ on effective implementation of Integral Child Development Services (ICDS) under Information Education and Communication (IEC) activities organized by ICDS Project Ramnagar at Dehari village of Ramnagar Tehsil. General public, especially women, village representatives and Anganwari Workers drawn from the nearby villages participated in the Camp exhibiting their commitment to positive change taken place during past one year in the entire Sub Division.
Amit Sharma, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, in his presidential address, impressed upon essence of holistic approach to the development of child to make him a good citizen in future and the agent of change.
But for achieving such objectives, he stressed upon Angadwadi workers to boost their confidence level upto the extent that they could inculcate the spirit amongst their fellow women folk of multiple role playing as housewives, social, economic and political actors of their respective villages.
He also emphasized about the pivotal role of Angadwadi workers in educating young buds, adolescent girls and pregnant women for shaping up their routines and sharing their success stories with their peers in villages.
