| Rajiv football: Churchill Brothers win 5-3 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 24: Churchill Brothers registered a 5-3 win against Young Star beating latter in tie-breaker in the ongoing Ist Rajiv Gandhi Gold Cup Football Tournament at GGM Science College ground, here today.
Earlier, the first round tie of the tournament ended in a goalless draw in the stipulated time with both sides playing an equally good game.
Roony, Moon Madan, Rinku, Amajot and Ajay successfully concerned their penalty kicks into goals for the winners. From Young Star, Rashi, Dimple and Rakesh could only net the ball.
Today’s match was officiated by Farooq Ahmed, Hilal Ahmed, Muzaffar Ahmed and Gagan Kumar.
