KHC takes exception to rising prices of essential commodities | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 24: Kashmir Hindus conference has taken strong exception the sky rocketing prices of various essential commodities on the holy festival of Maha Shivratri. In a handout issued here today, it has been stated that the meeting was held under the chairmanship of M.L Thusoo. Members appealed community members to make construed and economic use of the walnuts while alleging that government has ignored the community even on their holy festivals. KHC urged Chief Minister to initiate measure which will help in restoring secular order in the Kashmir valley. It has further said that people instead of repeating old-line of autonomy, special status, self- rule or joint control should focus on improving the economy of the state. Conference also hailed efforts of P.P Josef Dhar. Prominent Among others who addressed the meeting included P.L.Koul Budgami and K.L Ganjoo.
