| Seminar on eradication of corruption held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Feb 24: A seminar on the topic of “eradication of corruption” was organized by anti-corruption Society in the premises of Vivekananda College of Education here today.
On the topic of eradication of corruption, several students of the college delivered their deep understanding of corruption in every walk of life. Students of the college Gurupreet Kour, Shaina Thakur, and Hemant Singh stood first, second and third place respectively in the seminar. They highlighted serious effects of the corruption on the society.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kathua Zahida Khan also addressed the students and others present among audience. While speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the society Kulbushan Khajuria expressed shock over the present scenario. He said that ration scam, commonwealth scam and many other scams in the country have exposed that how deep rooted corruption is.
In the seminar, Chairman of the college Sudarshan Gupta alongwith president of the society Hatinder Manhotra, Sunil Salaria, Anoop Pathak, Ajay Singh, Anil Sharma, Raman Sharma, Sanjay Ratra, Sandeep Sharma, Bhanu Partap and Arun Sharma.
