| VHP welcomes govt decision on Godhra verdict | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Feb 24: The State unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad today welcomed the decision of Session Court Godhara’s verdict on train burning incident.
Addressing media persons here today, VHP state president Ramakant Dubey said, “It’s welcomed that 31 accused in the Godhra Train burning ase are convicted for criminal conspiracy to murder of 58 Ram Bhakts”.
He said, “Since the Session Court has accepted under the supervision on the Supreme Court that under the brutal criminal conspiracy, 58 Hindus were burnt alive, we demanded that all conspirators must get the same punishment which is only death penalty for them”.
Dubey appealed to all Hindus of India and Gujarat to respect the legal process peacefully.
