RAJOURI, Feb 24: Birthday of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj was celebrated across the world as "Guru Pooja Divas" with great fervor and gaiety.on this occasion, drives of cleanliness and plantation of trees were undertaken all over the world by the branches of Sant NIrankari Mission.
In District Rajouri cleanliness drive started right from 7am with cleaning of streets and removal of choking of drains there as trees were planted in various Government Institutions on Feb 23-24.
The Mission planted as total 120 plants in two days, 20 plants at Government P.G College, Rajouri, 40 plants in Nirankari Sant Nirankari Bhawan, Rajouri, 20 plants in Government District Hospital, Rajouri. 20 plants in Eid Gaah, 5 plants in Girls Higher Secondary School, Rajouri,15 plants in D.C Colony Rajouri.
Parmukh Anil Kapoor, Sant Nirankari Mandal Branch Rajouri gave an opportunity to the DDC Rajouri Jb. G.A. Khwaja to plant the first plant in D.C Colony Rajouri..
The cleanliness drive in rajouri town started from Rajouri to 25 Divisional Gate and District Hospital Rajouri. The main objective of these two drives of Sant Nirankari Mission is to make awareness among the common masses regarding global warming and to make a pollution free environment for safer future.
