Progressive bee keepers reach Jammu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, Feb 24: Progressive beekeepers from eastern and central zone state of India are in Jammu and Kashmir to boost and encourage beekeeping as an essential and useful profession among the farmers and unemployed youth. The beekeepers carried out the visit under the supervision of Incharge bee keeping, Khadi and Village Industries commission Hiranagar S.K Bhatt. Visitors interacted with local beekeepers and also held exchange of views to promote beekeeping in J&K. Director B.R Chauhan also took the visitors to several areas of the Jammu and organized interaction programmes with local beekeepers.
