Though state’s top goal-keeper and captain, Vikram Singh could not impress the fans, yet the penalty kick experts of Bank turned the game in their favour by committing no mistake in netting all the five chances. On the other side, Police made a bad beginning when Manmohan Singh’s kick hit the goal bar thus giving Bank a clear edge in tie-breaker. From winners J&K Bank, Aman Bahadur Thapa, Intikhab Alam, Khalid Qayoom, Bilal Ahmed and Adil Qadir were successful in penalties. For Police, Manmohan Singh missed while Vinay Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Ranjoy Kumar were impressive in dodging the guard at the net, Vikram Singh. Earlier, in the stipulated time, both sides played great football coming up to the expectations of the packed crowd at the Science College ground.
